We are dedicated Solar Cooking enthusiasts. And while we know that our home state of Ohio may not be the most ideal place for solar cooking, that does not stop us from promoting this wonderful technology when and where we can. Our goal is to educate young and old, and to share the far reaching potential of this amazing technology. You see…for us, solar ovens are an educational, fun and environmentally positive way for us to cook food. But for others in the world, where there is an abundance of sunshine, solar cooking can literally change lives. In parts of the world with inadequate clean household energy, the sun’s free energy provides a viable option for cooking food - an option that helps families fight poverty and disease. In fact, solar cooking meets many of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals of improved health, sustainability, empowerment of women, education opportunity, food security, and more.
