Un robot compacteur de déchet, wall-e, est oublié sur une Terre désolée et détruite par la surconsommation. Wall-e se retrouve embarqué pour une aventure fantastique permettant de comprendre comment la Terre s’est retrouvée dans l’état où elle est et ce que sont devenu les derniers humains, qui petit à petit, vont reprendre leur autonomie.
