Publication date: January 15, 2021
Location: Concarneau, France
After 5 years of exploration, 25 stopovers and more than 50 documented low-tech solutions, the flagship of the Low-tech Lab association will return to its home port, Concarneau, next summer.
This great learning journey on low-tech solutions started on February 22, 2016 and will end on June 25, 2022 with the return of the laboratory ship to Brittany.
Thanks to the support of its partners, the Schneider Electric Foundation, the city of Boulogne-Billancourt and the Brittany Region, the Low-tech Lab plans to make this return to France of the Nomade des Mers a great celebration of low-tech. In association with the city of Concarneau, a low-tech village will be open on the quays from June 25 to July 3 to raise awareness, experiment, discover and share the discoveries of the Nomade des Mers as well as those of the Low-tech Lab projects since its creation in 2013.
Exhibitions, concerts, low-tech cooking, visits to the low-tech habitat and the Low-tech Lab’s laboratory boat, demonstrations, are on the program for these 9 days of festivities on the port of Concarneau.
