Le Réseau pour les Alternatives Forestières (RAF)

Description

The Réseau pour les alternatives forestières (Network for Forest Alternatives) is a network of citizens who have questions about the forests in their area: multi-active farmers, sawyers who love the diversity of woods, lumberjacks, eco-builders, horseback skidders, those seeking to enhance the value of their forest heritage, collectives who buy forests... and who respect the Charter for Living Forests. The Réseau pour les alternatives forestières exists to transform forestry practices towards soft forestry by connecting and supporting the bearers of alternatives. Its missions are to create forestry commons, support and connect local initiatives, train people in alternative forestry practices, and document and raise the profile of forestry alternatives. Other avenues are possible for reappropriating knowledge and supporting a living, inhabited forest!
