La Smalah

Description

It's an association: Smalah is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901, like a sports club, a parents' association or a festival committee. An association with members, volunteers and salaried staff. It is recognized as being in the public interest, receives subsidies (from the town hall, the département, the region or private foundations), and also generates its own income. These are actions: Smalah does a lot of things, and it's sometimes hard to keep track. But we can classify all these things into three categories: socio-cultural programming (everything that goes on in the café), entertainment and training (around digital technology and crafts, but not only, for the youngest or oldest among us, professionals or amateurs). What's more, it's actively involved in supporting local food, because that's what it's all about: from field to plate, from farmers to artisans, in the canteen or at home or at the market. Smalah offers you : - A Social Life Space - Long training courses - Short courses - Work space - Machine rental and support - Citizen research and development
